• Detailed quote: We’ll provide you with a clear budget that includes all costs associated with your procedure.

Once you decide to proceed, our coordination team will help you organize all aspects of your visit:

• Flexible dates: We’ll work with you to find dates that fit your schedule and availability.
• Accommodation recommendations: We’ll provide options for hotels near the clinic, with special rates for our patients.
• Transportation: Information on how to get from the airport to your accommodation and the clinic.
• Preoperative evaluation: We will help you coordinate any required preoperative tests.

Once you schedule your surgery, we recommend a quick one-day visit to Barcelona to meet Dr. Mazarro in person. In this comprehensive in-person consultation you will be able to discuss any concerns, and review your customized Deep Plane Facelift plan in detail.

Many international patients find this visit invaluable for their peace of mind, and we always appreciate the chance to meet you face-to-face ahead of the surgery.

Before Surgery

In-person consultation: The day before surgery, you’ll have an in-person consultation with Dr. Mazarro to address any final questions.

Surgery Day

• Hospital Stay: Your Deep Plane Facelift surgery includes an overnight stay at the clinic.
• Dedicated Nursing Care: During your overnight stay, you’ll have a dedicated nurse available to attend to all your needs, monitor your recovery, and ensure your comfort.
• Accommodation for Companions: If you travel with a companion, we’ll arrange a comfortable bed in your room so they can stay with you overnight, providing additional emotional support during this important time.

After Surgery

• Next Morning Visit: Dr. Mazarro will personally visit you the morning after surgery to remove your bandages, assess your initial recovery, and provide detailed instructions for the coming days.
• Comprehensive Follow-up: Throughout your stay in Barcelona, Dr. Mazarro will perform periodic check-ups to monitor your healing process and address any concerns.
• 24/7 Support: Our team remains available around the clock to answer questions and provide assistance during your recovery period in Barcelona.

Your return journey will depend on your mode of transportation, as we have specific recommendations to ensure optimal healing:

For Patients Traveling by Air
If you need to take a flight back home, we recommend staying in Barcelona for at least 10 days after surgery.

During this extended stay, we’ll ensure you have all necessary follow-up appointments and provide recommendations for comfortable activities in Barcelona suitable for your recovery phase.

For Patients Traveling by Car, Train, or Boat
If you can return home by ground or sea transportation, you may leave Barcelona as early as 48 hours after surgery.

In this case we will schedule an in-person follow-up appointment at our clinic around day 10 for suture removal.

Ongoing Follow-up Care
Once you’re back home, we’ll maintain your care through scheduled video consultations to monitor your healing process

While video consultations are convenient and effective, we always recommend scheduling at least one in-person follow-up visit between 3-6 months post-surgery if your previous check-ups were conducted remotely.

This visit allows Dr. Mazarro to evaluate your final results in person and address any remaining concerns.
