Let me share my story with you
A few years ago, I had a motorcycle accident that almost ended my future in my true passion: facial aesthetic surgery.
At that time, I had just finished my specialization. While I was passionate about facelifts, I also wanted to explore rhinoplasty, orthognathic surgery, and more.
Basically, like any young surgeon eager to take on the world.
The accident left me with a hand injury that made it difficult to pinch with my thumb and index finger. I’m sure you can imagine how many sleepless nights I spent cursing that motorcycle…
But here’s the thing: if I had to go under the knife, I wanted what every patient wants…
…to be in the best hands.
During my recovery, I had plenty of time to reflect on what I was going to do to keep pursuing my dream. I wasn’t going to just sit around and settle for “good enough”.
